YES. Students have the opportunity at CISB to take all the courses needed to gain entry into universities around the world. (Please see Graduates Around the World)
Our previous graduates are attending university in Canada, the USA, Australia, Malaysia, Bangladesh and the U.K.
CISB hosts approximately 10 university representatives each year to speak with high school students about their programs. Additionally the school strives to have students register in courses that meet the requirements of the faculties they wish to enter.
Students are empowered to apply to university for conditional acceptance in November of their grade 12 year. The school lends its assistance by providing electronic copies of all necessary transcripts.
Both for High School and Elementary School. The elementary school uses the Ontario curriculum.
The high school uses the Manitoba curriculum.
YES. Large Canadian high schools in major city centres offer IB courses to students. Small schools do not.
The curriculum is very similar. Students are competitive when they enter university. There is more of an emphasis on memorization in the Cambridge system. The Canadian educational framework emphasizes an inquiry learning process.

Students must complete a minimum of 30 high school credits to get a diploma. CISB strives for students to meet the minimum requirement for the University of Toronto Bachelor of Arts and/or Science programs.
30 are needed at the end of grade 12. Students take 10 courses per year over 4 years. For a total of 40 on average.
There is a memorandum of agreement with the Ministry of Education in Dhaka. The school is registered and recognized. Graduates of CISB can gain entry to respected institutions like North South University.

Campus tours are a great way to find out more about CISB and the unique characteristics of our school. Our tour is guided by our experienced Admission officers who will also be able to answer any questions you may have.
Because the school is best viewed with students in it, we try not to run tours during the holiday period, although we understand your schedule will not always line up with our term dates.
